Deschutes Research, Inc.
Deschutes Research, Inc. (DRI) was established in 1996 with a focus on tobacco prevention and cessation. DRI has created interactive multimedia programs to assist tobacco users in quitting habitual use of snuff, chew or cigarettes, as well as training materials for health educators and health care professionals.
Funded by a series of grants from the National Institute of Mental Health, the Adolescent Coping with Depression Course (CWD-A) is an evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for adolescent depression. The CWD-A is designed for use with groups of four to eight adolescents, or it can be modified for use on an individual basis. The CWD-A course materials are available as free downloads in .pdf format here.
